NEW TESTAMENT GOD DEFINED.

Check out my previous blog on the Old Testament God for a deeper understanding. Now, let’s delve into the new perspective of God defined, as shared by Priscilla Shirer:

  • In Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, He reveals Himself as your Messiah.
  • In Acts, He manifests as the fire from heaven, reigning down upon us.
  • In Romans, He embodies the Grace of God, a boundless and unmerited gift.
  • In Corinthians, He exemplifies the power of Love, the greatest force of all.
  • In Galatians, He offers Freedom from the Curse of Sin, setting us free.
  • In Ephesians, He shines as our Glorious Treasure, our eternal wealth.
  • In Philippians, He models the Servant’s heart, humility in action.
  • In Colossians, He is both God and the Trinity, the divine mystery.
  • In Thessalonians, He calls Himself our King, guiding our purpose.
  • In Timothy, Titus, and Philemon, He takes on the role of our Mediator and Faithful Pastor.
  • In Hebrews, He is the source of everlasting Courage, our unwavering strength.
  • In James, He is the healer of the sick, always ready to mend.
  • In 1st and 2nd Peter, He shepherds us faithfully, our guardian and guide.
  • In John and Jude, He is the devoted lover coming for His Bride.
  • In Revelation, He Was, He Is, and Will always be the First, the Last, the Beginning, and the End.

This new perspective on God’s identity across the Bible reveals His multifaceted nature and enduring presence throughout Scripture.

Until next time, stay Growing and glowing!!
